Once you’ve installed your sweet new overlay, it’s time to get the alerts set up. If you own multiple overlay themes make sure that the scene collection you would like the alerts to be displayed on is currently active.

Adding an Alert Box Widget on Streamlabs Desktop
- On Streamlabs Desktop add a Widget source to your scene.
- Make the size of the widget box is the same as the Alert file.
Creating a new Widget Theme
- Visit the Streamlabs Widget Themes page.
- Create a new widget theme and enter a name for it.
- Once it’s created refresh the page and then press the Use button besides it.
- On the right hand side is a column named Scene Collections. Here you can see your active scene collection on Streamlabs Desktop.
- Press the dropdown and select the widget that you’ve just created.
- Once it has been linked, Save Settings and head back to the Streamlabs Alert Box Page.
Uploading the Alert
You will need to install each Alert one by one. The process for adding an alert is the same for each option. Before you start make sure you have selected the correct Widget Theme which can be seen on the top right.
- First select the tab of the alert you wish to add.
- Select the correct Layout, most themes will require the middle option.
- Under the Image heading select your Alert file.
- Tweak the rest of the settings such as the Alert Duration and Text Delay with the information found on the Products Read Me page.
- Once complete press Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
Testing the Alert
- Go to the Streamlabs Desktop app and press one of the test buttons at the bottom.
- If the alert is working it will pop up on your screen.
- Repeat these steps for the rest of the alerts.
Make sure the text layer is above the rest of the Facecam layers so that it is visible.
